The library is a doorway. It is the doorway to an escape. If you choose a book or a movie or music to take a break from life, it is just a doorway. Until you combine it with your reading, listening, and seeing skills and then mix in your imagination, you only have the doorway to escape.
If you want knowledge, you can enter the door of the library, but until you pull the books, movies and magazines off the shelf and open them, read them, and interpret them they are nothing but a doorway.
Those same books and doorways can lead to real adventure. From what you learn in a book or movie you can step through the doorway to reality. You can take the adventure. Go to the places that you read about, meet the people that you have learned about in movies.
The doorway to creating art, learning a language, writing your own book, building a birdhouse or bird feeder to building your own home.
Open doors . . . Open minds . . . Open a world of adventure.
